⤛ Name: Robb Stark
⤛ Appearance: Here
⤛ Canon: Game of Thrones
⤛ Age: 19
⤛ Race: Shiftling: Human/Wolf
⤛ Racial trait: Shapeshifter
⤛ Race details: Robb looks like a human in his regular form. When he shifts, it's into a wolf with red hair and and red eyes. He's on the large size, but nothing hulking or massive, just a strangely bigger than average wolf.
⤛ Choice: Reason
⤛ Abilities: Robb in the books is hinted to have an ability as a warg, though it is unknown to him and untested. This would allow him to possess his wolf and see through his eyes, controlling him. However, for the purposes of the AU and this game, this ability is being replaced with shapeshifting.
⤛ Skills:
*Combat: Swords and shields, archery, a bit of jousting and hand to hand.
*Survival: Hunting, fishing, and camping, etc.
*Command: Military strategy, troop management, command, military history and latest means of warfare.
*Education: Literacy, history, financial management, administration of lands and people, sums, writing, astronomy, and other important subjects.
⤛ Personality:
Just: Much of Robb's journey is guided by his sense of justice. After his battles, rather than execute prisoners or torture, he would keep the troops that surrendered prisoner. This had a tendency to lead to overcrowding, but Robb refused to harm any man that was under his protection or authority. When Roose Bolton offers to flay their prisoners, Robb makes it clear that he won't allow that. Lord Karstark, having lost his sons, wants to exact vengeance against the Lannisters, particularly against two boys in Robb's custody. Robb refuses this and in an act of defiance, Lord Karstark and a few other men kill the boys. Robb holds the men responsible and executes them for the crime. This sense of justice even carries over to his mother, who frees Jaime Lannister from his prison, going against Robb. He keeps her under guard and watch because of this. Much like his father as well, Robb believes that the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword and seen doing so with Lord Karstark.
Affable: Despite being a Stark, Robb is a friendly and kind person. He's loved by his father's people and is viewed with a great deal of respect. He makes certain to give marked attention to each of his men in turn, eats with them and fights alongside them. He does his best to treat everyone with respect and courtesy (Lannisters need not apply), including his bastard brother, who he views as his closest friend. He's close to his younger siblings and looks after them, especially after Bran's fall while Catelyn refuses to leave her son's side. He shows kindness and concern for enemy soldiers, allowing them to be treated and looked after while under his care.
Honorable: Much like the other Stark children, Robb was instilled with a keen sense of honor. He maintains the codes that Westerosi men are expected to follow and heeds his father's advice, one of which is to never favor one person more than another and he who passes the sentence swings the sword. This extends as well into Robb's personal life. He views taking the virginity of a woman as dishonorable and when he does inevitably make this mistake, he refuses to let her suffer embarrassment and shame, marrying her to try and repair the damage done.
Shrewd: Robb has a natural skill as a tactician. While he has never served in a war before, he is able to lay traps that seasoned veterans don't expect, inflicting heavy damages to the Lannister troops. He's a man who has won every battle that he's waged. He is able to spot particular weaknesses and use them to his advantage in battle. It comes to a point that even Tywin Lannister realizes that he can't win the war on the battlefield, choosing an underhanded means to remove Robb from power.
Brave: Robb, while young, always fights in the vanguard alongside his men. In all of the battles he's overseen, he was on the field where the fighting was thickest. He doesn't back down against greater odds and is willing to face more experienced generals, well aware he could die. This is something commented on by the people, which Sansa later uses to her advantage to point out Robb's virtues compared to Joffrey's cowardice.
Short sighted: While Robb has incredible foresight in battle, this does not apply to personal life or long term goals. He admits that he has no plan in place for after he removes and kills Joffrey and the Lannisters from power, which would leave a power vacuum and chaos in Westeros. He chooses to marry for honor and love, breaking an agreement he had with the Freys for assistance and passage, which loses their help and eventually contributes to his downfall. He doesn't consider what might happen if he sends Theon back to the Iron Islands to negotiate with his father, not taking into account Theon's bitterness towards the Starks and desire to be accepted by his father. This leads to Winterfell being seized and the North being lost while his troops are moving south. Each of these events contributing to his fall.
Trusting: Much of Robb's downfall is caused by him trusting the wrong people. He believed Theon when he promised that he would secure his family's help, ignoring his mother's warnings that the Greyjoys could turn on him. He trusted Roose Bolton to help secure and reclaim the North, as well as to serve him loyally, never taking into account how untrustworthy and underhanded the man was. He trusted that his apology would be enough to satisfy Lord Walder and there would be no revenge for his broken promise. Because of this, Robb went to attend his uncle's wedding at the Twins, trusting that Guest Right would protect him, only to be slaughtered by Walder Frey's men and Roose Bolton.
Quick tempered: When Robb is angry, he is quick to react and there is little anyone can do to talk him down. This is nowhere better displayed than with Lord Karstark. Having lead a group of men to kill two boy hostages under Robb's protection, Robb quickly dispenses justice. He executes the men following Lord Karstark by hanging. While his mother, wife and other advisers warn him not to do anything that could anger Karstark's men, Robb ignores this and beheads him himself. He loses a large portion of his army, as the Karstark men turn against him and march home.
Proud: Bran calls his brother "Robb the Lord" while their father is gone. This is because when Robb serves as the Lord of Winterfell in proxy, he shows a great deal of arrogance for his position. He's hostile to Tyrion Lannister during his visit, acting proud and arrogant during the audience, even while Tyrion tries to offer a kindness to Bran. He on occasion can show this trait to his brother as well, stopping them once during a game when they were boys as Jon called himself "The Lord of Winterfell", reminding him that he was a bastard and he would never be Lord of Winterfell.
⤛ Canon History: Wiki
⤛ Key History Events:
1. The Knight of the North
Robb is the oldest true born son of Eddard Stark, a noble and distant cousin of King Corlo. A few years before Ned's death, Robb was granted the chance to squire and learn from a prominent knight serving under King Corlo. Robb traveled to the capital where he continued his education and studied to become a knight. His service, military acumen and dedication lead to him being knighted at a young age. Despite his abilities, there was some animosity among the others of his order. Some viewed this as a special treatment because news had come about his father's murder. Others thought he was too young for the role. Taking this to mind, Robb worked harder and trained longer than the rest, doing his best to try and earn their respect.
2. Lord Karstark
While Robb was born with the notable Stark taint of a shiftling, it was an underutilized skill and one that he preferred to keep a secret. It seemed, however, to come out unbidden whenever his anger got the better of him. During his time in the capital, he met an orc fisherman named Raynald, who he eventually took on as his squire. The pair became close friends and were near inseparable. One night while they were drinking at an inn, a nobleman by the name of Karstark insulted both Raynald and Ned's memory. He and Robb got into an argument that eventually lead to violence. Pushed to the edge of his temper, he shifted into his wolf form, attacking Lord Karstark and tearing at his throat. When word of this got out, Robb was immediately sent away to the Northwest of the kingdom, given orders to manage and train a small coalition of soldiers as punishment. He was to remain at the encampment until orders stated otherwise.
3. An Unwise Marriage
As luck (bad or good) would have it, Raynald's tribe lived near the encampment. He took Robb to meet them, as well as his family. Because the size of his troop was too small to be of any significance in a battle, Robb hoped that alliance with the orcs could swell his numbers and add a great deal of strength for when they would need to march and attack. The orcs were reluctant, but having not seen any action in some time, they agreed to the truce. During one of the nights he spent with the tribe, Robb met Raynald's sister, Jeyne. Feeling lonely and far from home, he gave into Jeyne's comfort and spent the night with her. Not wanting to offend Raynald and believing he had a duty to Jeyne, the pair married to preserve her honor. This fraternization with the orcs and the rumors that he was a shiftling lead to a number of rumors among his troops, creating further animosity and distrust. More and more, his men began to look at him with suspicion and distaste.
4. Lackland
Not long after his marriage, Robb was surprised by his mother's sudden appearance, having fled from their home to appeal to him for help. There was talk among the neighbors that because their manor and lands were left unattended, they should be seized and taken by someone stronger. Catelyn urged Robb to return home and to try to protect their lands. Feeling a strong sense of honor to the family he left as a boy, Robb gathered his troops and marched back towards home, defying orders and creating further discord between him and his men. His mother, Raynald's tribe and family accompanied them as well. Seeing no reason to hold back, the orcs pillaged a number of villages along the way, seizing the goods and animals they found for their own purposes. While Robb would discipline his own men for anything of that sort, he didn't feel he had the authority to dictate to the orcs what to do, only creating more of a sense that he preferred the orc's way to the human's.
5. The Red Wedding
Trying to return home meant having to navigate across different battlefields that surrounded the area. While he was able to win a number of skirmishes, one night, as he was nearing his lands, Robb was intercepted by an ambush unit and drawn onto the field of battle. Frustrated with Robb's decisions, the rumors about him and his relationship with the orcs, rather than follow him, his men turned on him. Right before a charge, they drew their swords on Robb, joining with the enemy to slaughter him along with the orcs and his family. Robb was forced to watch his mother and wife killed first before a blade pierced his chest and he fell into darkness on the battlefield.
